About the Role

Gauri Buildcon Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Quantity Surveyor with practical experience in civil construction quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, cost control, and contractor bill verification.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of civil construction activities, the ability to interpret construction drawings, and excellent numerical and analytical skills to ensure accurate quantity calculations and billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity estimation and quantity take-offs for excavation, PCC, RCC, shuttering/formwork, and reinforcement steel.
• Read and interpret 2D and 3D civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for civil construction activities.
• Prepare and verify Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and reinforcement steel quantities.
• Prepare, check, and verify RA bills, running bills, and contractor bills.
• Maintain and verify Measurement Books (MB) and reconcile recorded quantities with actual work executed.
• Verify contractor bills against approved drawings, BOQs, site measurements, and applicable contract terms.
• Identify discrepancies in quantities, billing errors, variations, and cost calculations.
• Prepare quantity reconciliation statements and variation reports.
• Assist in cost estimation, cost monitoring, and budget control for construction activities.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project teams, and contractors to resolve quantity and billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of measurements, estimates, bills, and supporting documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, civil estimation, and billing.
• Practical knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D drawings.
• Strong understanding of BOQ, BBS, RA bills, running bills, and Measurement Books (MB).
• Experience in quantity estimation for excavation, PCC, RCC, shuttering/formwork, and reinforcement.
• Experience in contractor bill verification and quantity reconciliation.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and quantity calculation skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, quantity variations, and billing errors.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

Work Location & Schedule

Golf Course Road, DLF Phase 5, near Sector 54 Chowk Metro Station, Gurugram, Haryana.

• Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Working Days: 6 days a week
• Work Mode: Full-time, on-site
