Job Title: QA Engineer – Automation & Manual (Web & Mobile)

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to drive quality across web and mobile application releases. In this role, you will execute manual testing, build out automation suites, and leverage modern AI tools to accelerate test coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, write, and execute end-to-end test cases for web and mobile features.
• Develop and maintain automation testing scripts using Playwright, Appium, or WebdriverIO (JavaScript/Node.js).
• Incorporate AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot) to generate test cases, test data, and starter scripts.
• Identify defects, log issue tickets, and track bug resolution through the SDLC lifecycle.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives).
• Communicate clear release risks, testing metrics, and bug status to internal and client teams.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of proven experience in QA testing (manual and automation).
• Practical experience writing test scripts in JavaScript or Node.js using frameworks like Playwright, Appium, or WebdriverIO.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and defect priority workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity or willingness to use AI tools for efficiency in test case generation.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, k6) or basic security testing (OWASP ZAP).
• Experience with CI/CD integration and basic SQL database queries.
