Python Developer - Intern

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Python-based applications and backend components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including developers and QA.
• Help build and integrate APIs or connect with third-party systems.
• Write clean, efficient code accompanied by basic unit tests.
• Support performance optimization and debugging of existing systems.
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and agile ceremonies (like sprint planning).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Python 3.x and basic web frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs concepts.
• Basic knowledge of working with data analytics libraries like pandas and/or duckdb.
• Exposure to version control tools like Git.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.

Preferred Qualifications & Projects:

• Hands-on Python Projects: Completed academic, personal, or open-source projects demonstrating Python proficiency.
• C++ Familiarity: Knowledge of or experience with C++ is a strong plus, though not strictly required.
• Exposure or interest in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with development tools like Postman, Jira, or Confluence.
