• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to inspect incoming materials and handle returns for defective goods.

Financial & Inventory Control

• Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities, bulk-purchasing advantages, and value-engineering options to meet budget targets.
• Inventory Alignment: Partner with inventory control to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce waste.
• Spend Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on key procurement metrics, including cost variance and savings.
• Invoice Reconciliation: Verify billing accuracy with the finance team to ensure timely supplier payments.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Policy Enforcement: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
• Risk Mitigation: Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions, material shortages, or single-source dependencies.
