Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, price negotiations, and timely availability of materials as per company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate rates and payment terms.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Follow up on pending orders and maintain procurement records.
• Coordinate with internal departments for purchase requirements.
• Monitor material costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Verify vendor quotations, invoices, and other purchase documents.
• Maintain vendor databases and purchase reports.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification: Graduate in any discipline; a degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 25 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement.
• Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Experience in ERP systems or SAP will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
