Role Description The Public Relations and Marketing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati. This role is responsible for developing and executing PR and marketing strategies that strengthen Bordoisila's brand presence and promote its solar solutions across Assam. Day-to-day tasks include planning and managing marketing campaigns, coordinating events and outreach activities, handling media relations, preparing press releases and communication materials, and overseeing social media and digital marketing efforts. The Manager will collaborate with sales, technical, and leadership teams to align messaging, generate leads, and support business growth. The role also involves monitoring market trends, analyzing campaign performance, managing external agencies or vendors, and ensuring consistent and compliant communication with stakeholders, partners, and customers.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in public relations, corporate communications, and media outreach to build and maintain positive relationships with press, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Experience in marketing strategy, campaign planning, and brand management, with the ability to design and execute targeted marketing initiatives.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, including social media management, content creation, and basic analytics tools to drive online engagement and lead generation.
• Ability to produce clear, compelling written materials such as press releases, brochures, website content, and presentations.
• Demonstrated skills in event planning, community outreach, and on-ground promotional activities, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Prior experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or technology-driven businesses is highly beneficial.
• Comfort working in an on-site environment in Guwahati and traveling within Assam for events, meetings, and field activities as needed.
