We are currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and oversee a variety of IT projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in information technology, coupled with exceptional project management skills. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop detailed project plans, outlining timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.

• Execute projects according to the project plan, ensuring all objectives are met within scope and budget.

  Stakeholder Communication:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly.

    
    Technical Leadership:

  • Possess a solid understanding of IT systems, software development, and infrastructure projects.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.

  Resource and Budget Management:

  • Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project success.

  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.

  Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess project risks, developing and implementing mitigation plans.

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope and ensure proper documentation.

  Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and enforce project quality standards to deliver high-quality IT solutions.

  • Conduct thorough project reviews and implement continuous improvement measures.

  
  Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, and status reports.

  • Generate and present regular reports summarizing project progress, issues, and resolutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a track record of successful project delivery.

• Strong technical background with knowledge of IT systems, software development, and infrastructure projects.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).

• Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

• Understanding of IT infrastructure and networking concepts.

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
