Role Description The Project Architect role at Rathi Associates is a full-time, on-site position based in India. The Project Architect will be responsible for leading architectural design from concept to completion, developing drawings, specifications, and presentations, and coordinating with internal design teams and external consultants. Day-to-day tasks include managing project timelines, reviewing submittals and construction documentation, ensuring design integrity and compliance with codes and standards, and overseeing integration of architecture and interiors. The role involves regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and collaborate with contractors to maintain quality and design intent. The Project Architect will also participate in client meetings, support design reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards within the firm.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture, including conceptual design, space planning, and technical detailing.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Submittals, construction documents, and coordination drawings.
• Proficiency in Project Management, including scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
• Knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principles and sustainable design practices.
• Hands-on experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and approval processes in India.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects is highly beneficial.
• Registration or eligibility for registration as an architect in India is an advantage.
