Role Description The Professor of Finance role at Amity University in Hyderabad is a full-time, on-site academic position. Responsibilities include designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate finance courses, developing innovative curricula, and integrating current industry and research insights into classroom teaching. The role involves supervising student projects and dissertations, mentoring learners on academic and career pathways, and contributing to seminars, workshops, and industry interactions. The professor will engage in high-quality research, publish in reputed journals, and participate in academic committees and accreditation activities. Qualifications

• Strong expertise in core Finance areas, including Corporate Finance and related financial management domains.
• Solid foundation in Accounting principles and practices for teaching and curriculum development.
• Advanced Research skills, including quantitative and qualitative methods, with a record of publications in recognized journals.
• Background in Economics to support interdisciplinary teaching and research in finance and business.
• Doctoral degree (PhD) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
• Previous experience in university-level teaching and student supervision, preferably at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Demonstrated ability to design contemporary course content, use digital teaching tools, and adopt learner-centered pedagogies.
• Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills, with a collaborative approach to working within academic teams.
• Industry exposure or consultancy experience in finance or corporate environments is an asset.
