Product Operations & QA Analyst

Role Overview
Bridge client data onboarding, platform quality assurance and ongoing operational support for EquiSight, Equinoxs enterprise solution for job architecture and design, compensation studio and pay equity compliance. Ensure clean dataset ingestion, test releases on staging, triage bugs and verify compliance exports before executive sign-off.
Responsibilities
- Assist advisors and clients with HRIS, payroll and job-description dataset ingestion; run tiered validation for completeness and schema alignment.
- Execute structured functional, regression and end-to-end tests before releases; validate workflow state transitions across the platform.
- Inspect deliverables against raw database records for accuracy before final sign-off.
- Reproduce client defects, classify severity, review logs and document bugs for engineering resolution.
- Maintain onboarding documentation, track workflow sign-off progress and improve recurring data-handling procedures.
Tools and Touchpoints
SQL/PostgreSQL for workspace data, audit trails and validation reports; Excel, CSV, JSON and PDF export verification; GitHub Issues, GitHub Actions staging deployments and Jira/support tickets; Vue 3 web testing and Redis/Celery background job tracking.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science or a quantitative discipline. 0–2 years’ experience; suitable for an analytical graduate with QA and client-data discipline. Exceptional attention to detail with spreadsheets, numbers and tabular reports. Ability to reproduce bugs logically, distinguish data errors from application defects and communicate clear steps to developers. Strong written and verbal cross-functional communication with engineers and client advisors.
