Procurement Specialist

This Position reports to:

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Managing the end-to-end purchasing process, including launching purchase orders, confirming deliveries, and monitoring supplier performance to ensure timely and effective execution.

• Aligning supplier orders with internal requirements, ensuring quality, timely delivery, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness, while building good day-to-day relationships with approved suppliers and collaborating with local and international teams.

• Overseeing goods receipt verification and invoice processing, ensuring accurate and smooth execution of procurement transactions.

• Supporting supplier scouting together with Category teams and managing the supplier onboarding process through SAP Ariba.

• Supporting strategic sourcing activities by executing sourcing strategies, handling tactical negotiations and small RFQs, analyzing spend, and comparing supplier proposals to benefit the organization.

• Supporting digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement within procurement processes, while collaborating in cross-functional and virtual teams and contributing to international projects.

Qualifications for the role:

• 2-5 years of experience in purchasing or buyer roles, with a good understanding of procurement processes.

• You are highly adept in SAP Purchasing Module and SAP Ariba, with practical experience using both systems.

• Should be comfortable with flexible shifts

• Any graduate with Finance / Business Management degree

• You possess solid Excel and digital skills, with an openness to using technology to improve ways of working.

• You are comfortable communicating in local language and in Business English at C1 level, with effective written and verbal communication skills.

•  You can utilize AI/ digital tools and create AI Agents to support your daily operations, with responsible use of these tools — respecting data classification, information security, and confidentiality requirements when handling supplier, contract, and business information.  

• You are self-motivated, customer-focused, and solution-oriented, with the ability to handle shifting priorities and an openness to innovation. You are comfortable working both on your own and collaboratively in diverse teams; experience working in international and virtual team environments is considered.
