Procurement and Vendor Manager

We're hiring: Executive / Sr. Executive, Procurement & Vendor Management

This role works across engineering, projects and accounts. Your job is to make sure the right material reaches the right site at the right price, quality and time, and that every vendor account stays clean.

What you'll do

Collect monthly pricing from vendors for modules, inverters, structures, cables, ACDB/DCDB and BOS items, and track market movement

Float RFQs, build comparatives, and negotiate rates, payment terms, delivery, warranty and freight

Choose vendors on quality and compliance, not just the lowest price, and issue POs

Build and review an approved vendor panel, and handle rejections, replacements and warranty claims

Work with accounts on three-way matching (PO, GRN, invoice) and keep vendor ledgers reconciled

Plan material with site teams so no project is delayed for lack of stock

What we're looking for

2–5 years in procurement, purchase or supply chain

Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Commerce or SCM degree; an MBA in Operations/SCM is a plus

Strong negotiator with cost savings to show for it

Comfortable with GST, e-way bills and advanced Excel/Sheets; Tally, Zoho or SAP a plus

Detail-oriented, with strong follow-up discipline

Bonus points for rooftop solar or EPC experience, knowledge of ALMM/DCR and BIS/IEC standards, or an existing solar vendor network.
