Designation: Consultant / Principal Consultant (Energy Transition - RE Technology)

Location: Delhi

Educational Qualification: BE (Electrical/ Mechanical) and Post-Graduate (MS/M.Tech: Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, Power Systems, Energy Economics, or Sustainability will be an advantage)

Experience: 2–7 Years

Job Profile:

• Lead consulting assignments related to energy transition, renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, electricity markets, and decarbonization.
• Develop and review energy transition strategies, Net Zero roadmaps, decarbonization pathways, renewable energy plans, and integrated energy strategies.
• Lead market assessments, techno-economic studies, investment appraisals, business case evaluations, and feasibility assessments for renewable energy and low-carbon projects.
• Provide strategic advisory on renewable energy procurement, PPAs, open access, electricity market mechanisms, tariffs, regulatory frameworks, and commercial arrangements.
• Guide assessments related to solar PV, onshore and offshore wind, wind repowering, BESS, hybrid renewable systems, green hydrogen, and industrial decarbonization.
• Review power-sector developments, including electricity demand and supply, renewable energy deployment, grid integration, market trends, project pipelines, tariffs, and investment opportunities.
• Lead preparation and quality review of technical reports, policy papers, feasibility studies, concept notes, presentations, proposals, and client deliverables.
• Manage client relationships, stakeholder consultations, workshops, and interactions with government agencies, utilities, developers, investors, and other sector stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to consultants and analysts, review project outputs, ensure quality and consistency, and support timely delivery of assignments.
• Lead business development, proposal preparation, opportunity identification, client presentations, and strategic partnerships.

Skill Set Required:

• Strong knowledge of power systems
• Strong understanding of renewable energy, electricity markets, and related technical, financial, commercial, and regulatory aspects.
• Strong quantitative, statistical, data analysis, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Excellent technical writing, presentation, articulation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong project planning, execution, client relationship management, proposal development, and business development skills.
• Proactive, self-driven, collaborative, and curious, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Skill Set Desired:

• Hands-on experience in using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, etc
• Coding languages and tools (Python, R, MATLAB)
