Job purpose

The position is designed to assist new Machine Operator and to set & operate the assigned machine/line and to produce the required product(s) as per the received Job Card/Work Order and Product specification (quality & quantity) as scheduled/instructed by the department. Acting under the guidance of Line setter / Production Supervisor / Production Manager. Keeping the machine clean and following the safety and Food safety requirements at workplace.

RESPONSIBLITIES

3.1 Production & manufacturing:

• Assist the Machine Operators and identifies the required outputs / products to be produced on the assigned machine/line by reviewing the Job Card/Work Order and the Raw Material Request in order to prepare the inputs (raw materials, packaging cartons/bins and pallets) accordingly.
• Ensure the inputs (raw materials) used for process are not expired (i.e. within shelf life)
• Assist Machine Operator(s) to perform the changeover process and to set the machine based on production specification requirements.
• Runs and feeds the machine with the proper raw material to produce the required output in accordance with the SOP/WI (Standard Operating Procedure / Work Instruction).
• Monitors production process and the machine performance in association with Machine operator(s) to ensure optimum output as targeted.
• All other duties as assigned.

3.2 Quality Assurance:

• Produces the required products as per the specifications/standards established.
• Random inspection of the produced product.
• Identifies any defects / nonconformance related to product and raw material during process and inform to Quality team / supervisor for appropriate action.

3.3 Safety & Hygiene:

• Compliances with the company's safety policy, food safety policy & procedures and the personal hygiene practices.
• Uses the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and apply the GMP/ GHP (Good Manufacturing Practices / Good Hygienic Practices) & Food safety principles.
• Cleans the machine and work area regularly to keep work area dirt-free and hygienic.

3.4 Maintenance:

• Follow-up with Machine Operator(s) for daily CLInT (Clean, Lubricate, Inspect & Tighten) of machine for 5 minutes to avoid major breakdowns/downtime. Use only food grade lubricants for lubrication.
• Fills the daily PM (Preventive Maintenance) report and stoppages on AX in order to ensure that all machine parts are in a good condition and as per standards.
• Participates in trouble shooting process and minor maintenance.
