Press Breake Operator

To operate and set up CNC Press Brake machines (Hindustan & Ermak) with Delem control for accurate and efficient sheet metal bending, ensuring components are produced as per engineering drawings, required dimensions, quality standards, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC Press Brake machines for sheet metal bending and fabrication.
• Set up and operate Hindustan and Ermak Press Brake machines with Delem CNC control.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, bend angles, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Perform machine setting, tool/die selection, and program loading/editing using Delem control.
• Handle different sheet metal materials such as MS, SS, and Aluminium.
• Check first-piece and in-process dimensions using measuring instruments.
• Ensure accuracy of bend angle, dimensions, and overall component quality.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments during production.
• Follow production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S around the work area.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve fabrication issues.
  

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in CNC Press Brake operation and setting.
• Knowledge of Delem CNC control.
• Experience with Hindustan / Ermak Press Brake machines preferred.
• Good knowledge of sheet metal bending processes, tooling, bend allowance, and bend sequence.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of V-bending, air bending, and tooling selection is an added advantage.
  

Experience

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in CNC Press Brake operation and setting in sheet metal fabrication, with hands-on experience in Delem CNC control and Hindustan / Ermak Press Brake machines.
