The Preservation Tech - Helper will assist in the conservation and preservation of artifacts, ensuring their longevity and integrity. This role involves working closely with senior preservation staff to support various preservation projects and initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Conservation, Museum Studies, or related field preferred
1-5 years of experience in preservation or conservation roles
Knowledge of preservation techniques and materials
Familiarity with archival practices and standards
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Basic understanding of historical artifacts and their significance
