    About this role

    Company Overview:

Ernst & Young LLP (EY) is a global leader in assurance, tax, strategy, transaction, and consulting services. Operating across a vast network of member firms, EY helps organizations navigate complex business challenges by leveraging data, technology, and deep industry expertise. In India, the firm plays a pivotal role in shaping the infrastructure and public policy landscape, working closely with government bodies and private sector entities to drive sustainable economic growth and large-scale project delivery.

    Role Overview:

As a PPP Contract Management Expert, you will serve as a strategic advisor, bridging the gap between public sector objectives and private sector execution. You will oversee the lifecycle of complex Public-Private Partnership (PPP) contracts, ensuring that project milestones, financial obligations, and service level agreements are met with precision. Working alongside cross-functional teams and high-level government stakeholders, you will mitigate risks, manage contractual disputes, and ensure that infrastructure projects deliver the intended socio-economic impact while maintaining compliance with rigorous regulatory frameworks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Monitor and enforce contractual obligations for large-scale hospital infrastructure projects to ensure alignment with the concession agreement and project goals.

    - Manage complex stakeholder relationships by facilitating communication between government authorities, private concessionaires, and financial institutions to resolve operational bottlenecks.

    - Oversee performance monitoring and compliance reporting to ensure that service delivery standards and KPIs are consistently achieved throughout the project lifecycle.

    - Conduct rigorous risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential contractual breaches or project delays before they impact the bottom line.

    - Lead the documentation and negotiation process for contract amendments, change orders, and claims to protect the interests of the client and ensure project continuity.

    - Provide expert guidance on financial and technical compliance, ensuring that all project activities remain within the defined legal and budgetary parameters.

    Required Skillset:

    - Possess 5 - 8 years of professional experience in managing large-scale PPP infrastructure contracts, demonstrating a deep understanding of concession agreements and project finance.

    - Exhibit strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex legal and financial documents, translating them into actionable project management plans.

    - Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive political and commercial environments to drive consensus.

    - Maintain a proactive approach to project management, capable of balancing multiple high-priority workstreams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

    - Hold a relevant degree in Engineering, Finance, Law, or Management, preferably from a premier institute, reflecting a strong academic foundation.

    - Communicate complex technical and contractual information clearly to diverse audiences, including senior government officials and executive leadership.

    - Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid work environment, utilizing digital collaboration tools to maintain productivity and team cohesion across distributed project sites.
