Position title: Planning Manager

Department: Production planning and control

Location: Vasai

Full/Part-time: Full Time

Organizational relationships

• Reports to: HOD
• Supervises: Planning Executive
• Coordinates with: All other departments Production, Purchase, Stores, SCM, Quality, Projects, Design, Inward Stores, Dispatch, Accounts, and Logistics.

Academic qualification

• Essential: Diploma (Mechanical)
• Desired: BE / Diploma (Mechanical)

Experience

• Relevant: min 5 years into planning Current
• Total: 10-20 years

Technical skills

• Expert knowledge of SAP (PP Module, PS Module, MM Module)
• Microsoft Excel (Advanced)

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project schedules using PERT, Gantt Charts, and milestone planning.
• Track engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, and dispatch activities.
• Coordinate with project managers to update execution schedules
• Production Scheduling, MRP planning through SAP
• Plan and schedule spare parts orders based on customer requirements
• Perform Min-Max analysis for inventory optimization.
• Maintain optimum stock levels to avoid production disruptions.
• Coordinate with SCM for timely procurement.
• Coordinate with Purchase for critical material follow-up.
• Prepare Production MIS, Planning MIS & Supply Chain MIS.
• Monitor planning KPIs and improvement initiatives.
• Planning process compliance with ISO 9001 procedures
