Planner, Production and Raw Material

Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Planner Production and Raw Material.

This position will be based in Pune, India.

As a Planner – Production and Raw Material, you will:

Production planning and scheduling – Based on Demand Forecast, to prepare a weekly replenishment plan for Polyol grades as per safety stocks, lead time consideration; inline with MRP and raising production orders in SAP.

Execution of plan - Ensure smooth execution of production plan and stock transfers to ascertain timely availability of material at respective warehouses. Minimize last minute changes in plan.

Team coordination - Co-ordination with Logistics, Production, QC, Exim team for smooth function of plan.

Blender Capacity planning - Work out 6 months Capacity Load for Blenders on rolling monthly basis. Also to highlight and work towards mitigation plan proactively.

Production cost variance control - Working with costing team and analyzing Variations in Production Cost against Production order report and taking actions.

Daily tracking for vital parameters - Daily tracking of Plan vs Actual, Plan changes, Out of BOM requirements, RM/PM availability as per plan and Co-ordination with cross functional team for any gaps.

Inventory management - Driving B-side (Polyol formulation) planning end to end, to ensure inventory targets are achieved.

SLOB (Slow Moving) control - Inventory by Accurate Production Planning, working with QC for Rework.

RM planning – To plan for Raw materials as per Demand Forecast as per lead time. Ensuring that adequate POs are raised timely and tracking their arrivals through vendors.

Alternate RM qualification - Co-ordinate with Cross functional team for alternate RM qualification and development.

New products (NPI) management - Raising NPIs for New SKUs and Warehouse Extensions; and ensuring timely creation. Controlling redundant codes being created.

Master Data updation and control - Maintaining MM data for Products, along with routings, production versions.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

Education: Graduate. Diploma in Supply chain field will be preferred.

Experiences: 5+ years of relevant work experience with a reputed company.

SAP ERP experience in MRP planning / SAP PP and MM Module.

Good oral and written communication skills. Comfortable in English – Written and Verbal both.

Good Analytical skill.

Command over MS office packages – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI.

Very good Team player.

Ready to learn new things and open for new responsibilities.

Analytical and Innovative thinker.

End to end ownership for tasks.

An eye for cost saving.

Managing stakeholders effectively.
