Performance Tester

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability testing.
• Develop and maintain robust performance test scripts and frameworks.
• Analyse test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on performance strategy and system design.
• Contribute to resilience and chaos engineering initiatives.
• Drive performance engineering best practices across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling + Karate.
• We are also open to profiles with strong Gatling expertise.
• Expert-level scripting/programming experience in Java and JavaScript is mandatory.
• Good understanding and hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD integration.
• Experience integrating performance testing into automated CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of architecture, performance strategy, execution, and system design thinking.
• Experience with chaos engineering tools and practices, including Chaos Monkey and Gremlin.
• Deep understanding of software and hardware SDLC dimensions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, DevOps, architecture, and infrastructure teams.
• Experience in leading performance engineering initiatives and driving performance improvements across applications and systems.
