Packing & Dispatches Supervisor

Job Description :To ensure efficient packaging, handling, storage, and dispatch of finished goods while maintaining product safety, quality standards, and on-time delivery commitments.Key Responsibilities :

• Packing OperationsPlan and supervise daily packing activities as per dispatch scheduleEnsure correct packaging standards, labeling, photography and documentationOptimize packaging materials to minimize cost and damageMonitor packing productivity and reduce wastageHandling dispatch planning for high-volume & heavy components
• Dispatch & Logistics CoordinationCoordinate with transporters for timely vehicle placementPrepare dispatch documents as per organization guidelinesEnsure timely dispatch as per customer delivery schedulesTrack shipments and update stakeholders on delivery status
• Inventory & Warehouse ManagementEnsure Layout planning, proper storage and space utilizationMaintain stock accuracy of finished goods and packing materialsImplement FIFO practicesImplement Barcode / RFID scanning systemsConduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation
• Quality & ComplianceEnsure compliance with packaging standards and customer specificationsFollow safety norms while handling and movement of goodsAdhere to ISO / EHS / Statutory RequirementsMonitor and control damage/return rates & conditions
• Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities for cost reduction in packaging and transportImprove loading / unloading efficiencySupport automation or digitization initiatives (WMS, barcode systems)
• Coordination & CommunicationWork closely with PMG, PPC, Production, Stores, & Quality departmentsHandle transporter and 3rd Party Logistics vendor coordinationResolve dispatch-related issues proactivelyTechnical Skills:Knowledge of packaging materials and methodsUnderstanding of logistics and transportation processesERP usageDocumentation and compliance knowledgeSoft Skills:Strong coordination and communication skillsProblem-solving and decision-making abilityAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesTeam handling capability
