OT Technician

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare the operation theatre before every surgical procedure.
• Ensure OT cleanliness, disinfection, and readiness.
• Assist ophthalmic surgeons during surgical procedures.
• Assist in shifting patients safely to the recovery area.
• Follow proper sterilization and disinfection protocols.
• Operate and monitor autoclave and other sterilization equipment, if assigned.
• Maintain ophthalmic surgical instruments and equipment.
• Check equipment functionality before every procedure.
• Maintain OT registers, surgery records & sterilization records.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4-5 years of experience in an ophthalmic OT.
• BSc / Diploma / Certificate in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT).
