Oracle EBS Financials Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Configure, support, and enhance Oracle EBS Financials modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management.
• Set up and maintain Subledger Accounting (SLA), including accounting methods, journal line rules, and account derivation rules.
• Work directly with finance and business teams to understand requirements and turn them into practical solutions.
• Analyse accounting entries, trace transactions across subledgers to the General Ledger, and fix discrepancies.
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, and test scripts.
• Support system testing and UAT, fix defects, and assist with deployments and go-live.
• Provide production support for month-end and year-end close, resolving issues at the root cause.
• Work with technical teams on reports, interfaces, and customisations.
• Support patches, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Train end users and document processes.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Financials implementation or support.
• Working knowledge of Subledger Accounting (SLA) setup and accounting rules.
• Good understanding of core finance processes such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and period close.
• Ability to analyse accounting entries and troubleshoot issues across modules.
• Clear communication skills, since you will work directly with finance users.
