Manager Finance

Location: Bangalore
Work Schedule: 45 Hours per Week
Work Mode: Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced Manager Finance to handle technical accounting, direct taxation, financial reporting, and controllership activities.

The role involves working closely with different teams, auditors, tax consultants, and business teams to ensure proper financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle technical accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of financial statements.
• Oversee provisions, accruals, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax rules, and company policies.
• Coordinate statutory, tax, and financial audits.
• Manage direct taxation activities, including tax calculations, advance tax, and other compliance requirements.
• Maintain and improve internal financial controls and risk management processes.
• Work closely with FP&A, business teams, auditors, and external consultants.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and support automation.
• Guide and manage finance team members and handle stakeholder relationships.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified CA or CA Inter or MBA in Finance.
• Around 10 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Controllership, or R2R.
• Experience as a Senior Accountant, Financial Controller, Assistant Financial Controller, BU Controller, or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS / Ind AS), financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience in month-end closing, audits, financial statement preparation, and compliance.
• Experience in Controllership or R2R processes is required.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho, or similar systems.
• Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in process improvement and automation will be an advantage.
