Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support custom applications and screens using Oracle VBCS.
• Design, build, monitor, and maintain integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Troubleshoot issues in custom VBCS screens and implement timely fixes.
• Diagnose and resolve integration issues between custom VBCS screens, OIC, and Oracle Fusion applications.
• Analyze application logs, integration failures, REST/SOAP API errors, and data-mapping issues.
• Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to understand requirements and resolve production issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide sustainable technical solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Support testing, deployment, and post-production activities.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle VBCS and Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Experience working with Oracle Fusion applications and related integrations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and fix custom VBCS screens.
• Strong experience resolving integration issues between VBCS, OIC, and Oracle Fusion.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, XML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Good understanding of authentication, security, data mapping, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Experience with production support and issue resolution.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
