Job Summary

Senor Metals Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Siemens NX design software. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing copper and brass products, components, welding products, and other engineering products, ensuring design accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop copper and brass components, welding products, and other engineering products using Siemens NX CAD software.
• Prepare 3D models, 2D engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Interpret customer requirements, technical specifications, and engineering drawings to develop suitable product designs.
• Modify and optimise existing designs based on customer feedback, production requirements, and engineering changes.
• Coordinate with production, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product development.
• Ensure designs meet dimensional accuracy, material specifications, and manufacturing feasibility requirements.
• Support prototype development, design validation, and troubleshooting of design-related issues.
• Maintain design documentation, CAD files, revision records, and technical drawings.
• Identify opportunities to improve product design, material utilisation, and manufacturing efficiency.

Required Skills

• Strong working knowledge of Siemens NX CAD software is essential.
• Experience in 3D modelling, 2D drafting, assembly design, and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, engineering materials, tolerances, and fits.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
