About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Nurse to join the Dr Morepen Home healthcare team. The role involves providing safe, high-quality clinical care to patients at their homes while ensuring proper coordination, documentation, and adherence to clinical protocols.

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to independently handle patient visits in a home-care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits and provide nursing care as per the patient's treatment plan and doctor's instructions.
• Perform clinical procedures safely and efficiently while maintaining proper infection-control practices.
• Assess and monitor patients vital signs and overall clinical condition during visits.
• Perform IV cannulation, IV medication administration, catheterization, injections, IV fluid administration, and other nursing procedures as required.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of medical equipment, consumables, and biomedical waste.
• Maintain accurate patient records, visit reports, treatment details, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with doctors and the internal clinical/operations team regarding patient updates, concerns, and changes in condition.
• Educate patients and attendants regarding medication, treatment, precautions, and post-visit care.
• Identify and appropriately escalate any emergency or change in the patient's condition.
• Follow clinical SOPs, safety guidelines, infection-control protocols, and organizational policies.
• Maintain professional conduct and ensure a positive patient experience during every visit.
  

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Minimum 3 years of professional nursing experience.
• Prior home healthcare / home-visit experience will be an added advantage.
• Strong practical knowledge of IV cannulation and IV therapy.
• Knowledge of catheterization, injections, IV fluids, wound care, vital monitoring, and basic emergency response.
• Good understanding of infection prevention and control practices.
• Ability to identify abnormal vital signs and recognize situations requiring immediate medical attention.
• Knowledge of BLS/CPR is preferred.
• Ability to independently manage patient visits and follow doctors instructions accurately.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with patients, attendants, doctors, and internal teams.
• Comfortable using basic digital tools for patient documentation, reporting, and communication.
• Good time management and ability to handle multiple visits based on the assigned roster.
• Willingness to work with flexible timings and roster-based working hours, depending on patient requirements.
• Willingness and ability to travel for assigned home visits within the designated service area.
  

Candidate Profile

We are looking for nurses who are clinically confident, responsible, punctual, patient-focused, and comfortable working independently in a home-care environment.

Candidates with prior home-visit experience, IV cannulation experience, and strong hands-on clinical exposure will be preferred.
