Hiring: Assistant Manager – NPD | Fabrication / Heavy Fabrication
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – New Product Development (NPD) with strong expertise in fabrication and heavy fabrication to drive new product development from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
New Product Development
Lead NPD activities from prototype development to production, ensuring timely launch of new products.
Fabrication & Heavy Fabrication
Strong hands-on experience in fabrication processes, welding, structural fabrication, heavy fabrication, and related manufacturing practices.
Process & Production Engineering
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, welding sequences, fixtures, tooling, and production methods for improved quality and productivity.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with Design, Quality, Production, Purchase, and Suppliers to ensure smooth development and successful product industrialization.
Cost, Quality & Continuous Improvement
Drive cost reduction, process improvement, quality enhancement, and manufacturability initiatives while meeting customer and project requirements.
Preferred Profile
Experience: 5–10 years in NPD / Fabrication / Heavy Fabrication
Strong knowledge of Welding, Fabrication, GD&T, Drawings, Fixtures & Manufacturing Processes
Experience in prototype development and product industrialization
Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills
Engineering qualification preferred: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical / Production
