Job Summary
We are looking for a confident, articulate, and dynamic News Anchor to present live and recorded news bulletins. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of current affairs, and the ability to deliver news accurately, objectively, and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Present live and recorded news bulletins with confidence and clarity.
- Deliver accurate, unbiased, and engaging news content to the audience.
- Research and stay updated on current affairs, politics, business, and trending news.
- Coordinate with editorial, reporting, and production teams to ensure smooth broadcasts.
- Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and newsmakers.
- Verify facts and information before presenting news.
- Handle breaking news and live updates calmly and efficiently.
- Read news scripts fluently with proper pronunciation, voice modulation, and appropriate expressions.
- Maintain a professional presence and adhere to journalistic ethics.
- Participate in editorial discussions, script reviews, and news planning meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience of 6 months to 5 years in news anchoring, journalism, or media broadcasting.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of current affairs and general news.
- Clear diction, confident body language, and a professional personality.
- Strong research, interviewing, and fact-checking skills.
