New Product Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

New Product Development Manager for our die casting manufacturing company. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete new product development process, from customer enquiry and feasibility analysis to product development, sample approval, and successful production launch. Co-ordination with Marketing / Toolroom / Machining / Coating

Preferred candidate profile

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1015 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, with substantial experience in new product development in the die casting industry.
• Experience in aluminium pressure die casting and automotive component manufacturing will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of die casting processes, tooling, machining, and component manufacturing.
• Experience in handling customer drawings, product feasibility, costing, tool development, and sample approval.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans.
• Experience working with automotive OEMs and Tier-1 customers will be an added advantage.
• Good project management, coordination, problem-solving, and customer communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple development projects and deliver products within committed timelines.
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA will be preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
