Network Team Member JD Datacenter

Job description:

• Good exposure to Datacenter LAN technologies and its monitoring, management and operations.

• Experience in enterprise DC environments preferably with BFSI sector.

• Looking for a candidate with overall 7-1O years in field of networking (Datacenter LAN) and 3-5+ years of relevant experience in Cisco ACI

• Responsible for the Cisco ACI network architecture component(s).

• Understand and support Data Center Networks utilizing Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure and Nexus 9k platforms.

• Contribute to the development and performance of a migration plan from traditional data center network designs to Cisco ACI.

• Integrate service appliances to Cisco ACI deployments to include Application Delivery Controllers and Firewalls.

• Good understanding of Inter and Intra Tenant traffic flows, contracts

• Experience in L2 outs, L3 outs, VMM integration

• Understanding of how other technologies work alongside Cisco's ACI

• Experience in Troubleshooting traffic flows, routing and L3 policies

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.

• Work with vendors to validate hardware parameters and functionality then replace if necessary.

Technical Skills / Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field or relevant experience

• 7 to 12 years of experience in field of Networking.

• CCNP / CCIE – Data Center.

• Architect level knowledge & in-depth hands on experience in Design, Implementation, and Configuration on Data Center & Large enterprise campus Environment, especially in NX-OS & ACI environment.

• [Mandatory] At least 3 years of Hands on experience in Cisco ACI for design, implementation, deployment & migration.

• Expertise in ACI Infrastructure routing, multi-site ACI Data Center and Integration Design based on Cisco best practice methodology.

• Should have in-depth knowledge on REST API to program Cisco ACI.

• Should have hands-on experience on automation tools like Terraform, Python, Ansible. • Knowledge and hands-on experience with VXLAN/EVPN • Hands on with networking technologies and core Internet protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, MPLS-VPN, VXLAN/EVPN, DMVPN, vPC)

• Expert level experience in Routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP) & Switching technologies

(e.g. Stacking, VPC, MLAG etc.)

• Should have good understanding of all the data centre components (e.g. Virtualization,

Compute, Storage etc.)

• Good communication skills.

Additional Skills:

• Capable of managing audits and ensuring compliance standards.

• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs

and requirements.

• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of projects and operations.

• Liaising with the vendor/partners to ensure seamless integration and coordination of tasks.

• Responsible for translating any new business requirements into technical specifications.

• MIS reporting.

• Ensuring efficient management of service requests, incidents and operational issues in a

timely manner.
