Netsuite Functional Consultant

Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in ERP Finance Consulting, Financial Systems Implementation, Accounting Operations, or Business Process Transformation.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite Financials, including General Ledger, Financial Consolidation, Intercompany Accounting, and Month-End Close processes.
• Experience working on at least Five full-cycle NetSuite implementation, enhancement, or support project in a client-facing consulting environment.
• Strong experience with financial close, reconciliations, foreign currency accounting, and consolidation processes across multiple legal entities and subsidiaries.
• Understanding of reporting and integrations within NetSuite is a plus.
• Prior experience with consulting firms is preferred.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of implementation or support team and lead his/her track for delivery.
• Hands on configuration and reporting experience within NetSuite, with ability to assist customers in -a multi-country/multi-currency environments, NetSuite version upgrades, enhancements, additional rollouts, issue triaging, testing, training etc.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities by performing reconciliations, validating financial data, investigating variances and assisting in troubleshooting any intercompany elimination/consolidation process issues in NetSuite. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements and related accounting records.
• Provide guidance on best practices for financial processes, intercompany accounting, and consolidation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, functional designs, and accounting procedures. Ensure all configurations, business processes, and controls are accurately documented for audit readiness and future reference.
• Triaging issues for support or as part of implementation team and track/report the status to the customer stakeholders and project director.
• Work with the technical developers to deliver integrations, reports and/or enhancements.
• Collaborate with finance leaders, business users, and project teams to drive successful project delivery and issue resolution. Provide regular project updates, facilitate workshops, and support user training and adoption initiatives.

Shift timings: India working hours with UK/EU working hours overlap.
