Company Description Munkudil Ayurveda Yoga Retreat is an eco-friendly destination in Thattekkad, Kerala, offering authentic yoga retreats and Ayurvedic treatments along the banks of the Periyar River. Located about 70 km from Kochi, the retreat is known for its nature-integrated architecture built from earth (mud) and special red stones, reflecting traditional Kerala culture, cuisine, and design. Surrounded by misty reserve forests near the Thattekad bird sanctuary, it provides guests with opportunities for organic living, including farming, fishing, boating, kayaking, swimming, birdwatching, and wildlife photography. With seven rooms, a Yogashala, Ayurvedic spa, Zen garden, river-facing restaurant, treehouse, swimming pool, and sustainable features such as aquaponic cultivation and waste management systems, Munkudil is a popular destination for wellness holidays, workcations, weddings, and photo shoots. The retreat is especially recognized for yoga retreats, detox holidays, Ayurvedic treatments, de-stress packages, and slimming and weight loss programs.

Role Description The Naturopathy Doctor will provide evidence-based naturopathic consultations and treatments, integrating Ayurveda and yoga practices to support guest wellness programs such as detox, de-stress, and weight management. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting health assessments, designing individualized treatment plans, monitoring guest progress, and documenting case histories in alignment with retreat protocols. The role involves collaborating closely with Ayurvedic physicians, yoga instructors, therapists, and the hospitality team to ensure a holistic, safe, and consistent guest experience. The Naturopathy Doctor will also educate guests on lifestyle, nutrition, stress management, and sustainable, mindful living practices that align with Munkudil's philosophy. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kothamangalam, requiring flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays as per guest needs.

Location: Thattekkad, Kerala

Salary: 18,000 – 25,000/month (based on experience)

Experience: Minimum 2 years in naturopathy practice

Preference: Candidates who can also conduct yoga and meditation sessions

Role & Responsibilities:

Conduct patient assessments and design personalised naturopathy treatment plans for guests

Administer naturopathy therapies as part of the retreat's wellness programs

Lead daily yoga and meditation sessions for all guests (preferred skill)

Guide guests through their overall wellness journey, combining naturopathy with mindfulness practices

Maintain treatment records and coordinate with the front office and operations team on guest wellness schedules

Stay current with naturopathy and holistic wellness best practices

Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified naturopathy practitioner who is equally comfortable leading a yoga or meditation class — someone who sees wellness as a mind-body practice, not just clinical treatment, and can connect authentically with guests throughout their stay.
