National Manager - Internal Audit - CA

Role Overview:

As the National Manager Internal Audit, you will serve as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the entire internal audit framework, risk management protocols, and internal control environment across our national operations. You will work closely with the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee, and senior leadership teams to provide independent, objective assurance on the effectiveness of governance and operational processes. By identifying systemic risks and championing process improvements, you will directly influence the financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and long-term operational resilience of the organization. This role is based in Delhi NCR and requires a seasoned professional capable of navigating complex business landscapes to drive high-impact organizational change.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end internal audit lifecycle, from risk assessment and annual planning to execution and reporting, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls to mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks across all business units.

- Partner with senior stakeholders to translate audit findings into actionable business solutions, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

- Oversee the implementation of robust risk management frameworks to proactively identify emerging threats and ensure the business remains ahead of regulatory shifts.

- Manage and mentor a high-performing audit team, providing technical guidance and professional development to ensure the delivery of high-quality, value-added audit engagements.

- Present comprehensive audit reports and strategic insights to the Audit Committee and Board, facilitating informed decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.

Required Skillset:

- Possess 12 - 20 years of progressive experience in internal audit and risk management, ideally within a large-scale, multi-locational corporate environment.

- Hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial reporting, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and articulate complex technical findings with clarity.

- Exhibit strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to dissect complex business processes and design effective, scalable internal control mechanisms.

- Maintain a high degree of professional skepticism and integrity, ensuring all audit activities are conducted in accordance with international professional practices.
