Mold Maintenance Technician

Industrial Technical Diploma (Plastics Technology and Mold Fitting)

Job purpose 

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production molds to reduce breakdowns and downtime, and to preserve product quality and mold service life.

Required Experience

Experience: 5 up to 10 years 

 Receive mold breakdown reports, diagnose the causes, and carry out the appropriate repair. 

 Execute preventive maintenance plans, including mold cleaning, inspection, and lubrication. 

 Inspect and replace worn components such as pins, springs, guides, bushings, ejection elements, and cooling components. 

 Inspect cooling circuits, leakage, mechanical movement, and the condition of molding surfaces. 

 Record maintenance work, spare parts used, the cause of failure, and the corrective action taken. 

 Support production during mold installation and removal, and monitor mold performance after repair.
