Job Overview

Reliefline Global Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser with experience in the apparel industry, preferably in baby clothing or kidswear. The candidate will be responsible for product development, merchandising coordination, order execution, client relationship management, and identifying new business opportunities to help the company acquire new clients and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Development: Coordinate product development, sampling, costing, and approvals in line with buyer requirements.
• New Client Development: Identify and approach potential buyers, brands, retailers, and business partners to develop new client relationships.
• New Project Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business projects and order opportunities in baby clothing and the wider apparel industry.
• Business Development: Support the company's growth by generating business leads, following up on enquiries, and converting opportunities into confirmed orders.
• Buyer Coordination: Maintain regular communication with buyers and clients regarding product specifications, samples, pricing, order status, and delivery schedules.
• Sampling & Costing: Prepare and manage samples, quotations, cost sheets, tech packs, measurement charts, and product specifications.
• Fabric & Trims Sourcing: Coordinate with suppliers for fabrics, accessories, trims, and other materials required for production.
• Order Execution: Monitor orders from initial enquiry and sampling through production, quality checks, packing, and final dispatch.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with design, sourcing, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
• Market Research: Identify new market opportunities, emerging trends, potential buyers, and business prospects in the babywear and apparel segments.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain order trackers, buyer records, costing sheets, sampling status, and reports on new client development and business opportunities.
• Delivery & Quality: Ensure products meet buyer specifications, quality standards, and committed delivery timelines.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience in merchandising within the apparel, garment, or clothing industry is required.
• Experience in baby clothing, infant wear, or kidswear will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, costing, sampling, and production processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and meet deadlines.
• A business-oriented approach with the ability to identify potential buyers and develop new client relationships.
