Medical Transcriber - Gujarati

About the Role

Healthcare AI is only as good as the data it learns from, and today very little of that data is in Gujarati. As a Medical Transcriber, you will help change that. You will listen to real medical conversations and dictations in Gujarati, often mixed with English, and turn them into accurate, structured transcripts that train speech-to-text systems for doctors and patients.

This is a chance to put your medical knowledge and your Gujarati fluency to work in one of the fastest-growing fields in technology, entirely from home. You will be trained by domain experts before you start, so you will know exactly what good work looks like from day one.

What You Will Do

• Transcribe medical audio convert Gujarati and Gujarati-English conversations, consultations and dictations into accurate text, following clear project guidelines.
• Get the medicine right capture medical terms, drug names, dosages, procedures and abbreviations correctly.
• Label the audio – tag speakers, background noise, unclear speech and other non-speech events.
• Review and improve – check and correct transcripts, including AI-generated ones, and help raise overall quality.
• Deliver consistently – meet quality and productivity targets and act on feedback from reviewers.

What We Are Looking For

• Fluent in Gujarati, including reading, writing and typing Gujarati script
• At least 1 year of experience as a medical transcriptionist, or has a pharmacy or paramedical background
• Good working knowledge of medical English and terminology
• Strong attention to detail and good time management
• Basic computer skills and comfort with web-based tools

Good to Have

• Experience in speech data annotation or medical scribing
• Familiarity with eScription, Fluency, Express Scribe or similar tools
• Medical transcription certification
• Exposure to regional Gujarati dialects (Kathiawadi, Surati, Kutchi)

Work Setup

• Monday to Saturday (10 AM -7 PM)
• Your own laptop, headphones and a stable internet connection
• Selection through a short training program and qualification test
