Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Narasaraopeta. The Mechanical Engineer will oversee the design, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical systems and equipment used in granite processing, including conveyors, cutting machines, and material handling systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing equipment inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, coordinating repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance plans in collaboration with technicians and production teams. The role involves preparing and reviewing mechanical drawings, supporting installation and commissioning of new machinery, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. The Mechanical Engineer will also participate in improvement projects, support R&D activities to enhance equipment performance, and assist with project planning, documentation, and vendor coordination.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering fundamentals and practical experience with industrial machinery or manufacturing systems.
• Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources for equipment installation and maintenance projects.
• Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) skills to support process improvements, equipment upgrades, and performance optimization.
• Relevant qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, and experience in plant or factory operations.
• Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with maintenance management practices, knowledge of safety and regulatory standards, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Narasaraopeta, manage multiple tasks, and respond to operational issues in a timely manner is essential.
