Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager - Strategy

Role Summary:

Drive strategic planning and business performance through business and financial analytics. Analyse complex data, identify trends and patterns, and generate actionable insights to support informed decision-making and key organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead annual business planning, growth strategy, forecasting, and periodic business performance reviews in partnership with Business and Functional Heads.

- Monitor key business and financial KPIs, identify performance gaps and emerging trends, and provide forward-looking business insights.

- Develop financial models, forecasts, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses to support business planning and strategic decision-making.

- Analyse business performance, profitability, productivity, cost drivers, and resource utilisation to identify improvement opportunities.

- Support growth initiatives, new product evaluations, expansion plans, and other strategic business initiatives.

- Develop MIS, dashboards, and management reports that provide actionable insights and forward-looking business perspectives.

- Prepare management and Board presentations incorporating business analysis, scenario assessments, and strategic recommendations.

- Coordinate with Business and Functional Heads to drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in Strategy, FP&A, Management Consulting, Business Analytics, or a similar role, preferably within NBFC, lending, or financial services.

- Strong hands-on expertise in financial modelling, business analytics, forecasting, and advanced Excel.

- Good understanding of lending/NBFC economics, unit economics, profitability, and key financial and operational metrics.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert complex data into clear, concise, and actionable business insights.

- Experience in business planning, investor data preparation, annual operating plans, performance management, market/industry analysis, and strategic projects.

- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to present insights effectively to senior leadership.

- Exposure to SQL, Python, Power BI, or other data and analytics tools would be an added advantage.

- An MBA or postgraduate qualification in Finance, Analytics, Strategy, or a related discipline, with a strong quantitative and financial orientation, is preferred.
