Manager/Senior Manager - Operation Excellence

Job Summary -

Lead the strategic direction and transformation of Flight Operations and Flight Training, translating business priorities into strategic initiatives while ensuring that major initiatives are effectively implemented and delivering intended outcomes.

The role works closely with Operational Excellence and functional leaders to shape the future operating model, build organizational capability and continuously evolve strategy based on operational and implementation insights.

Job Specification -

Strategy & Business Planning

- Develop and maintain the Flight Operations Strategic Plan aligned with airline objectives and growth plans.

- Translate business priorities into departmental strategic priorities and initiatives.

- Lead annual business planning, resource planning and strategic prioritization

- Identify emerging industry, regulatory, technology and business trends and their strategic implications

Transformation & Strategic Implementation

- Define future-state operating models, capabilities and transformation priorities.

- Develop and drive major strategic transformation programmes.

- Provide strategic direction and remove cross-functional barriers to implementation.

- Monitor delivery and ensure initiatives achieve their intended strategic outcomes.

Organization & Capability Development

- Assess organizational and capability requirements for future growth.

- Drive organizational maturity, leadership capability and succession planning.

- Develop long-term workforce and capability roadmaps.

Strategic Performance & Governance

- Establish strategic KPIs and performance frameworks.

- Monitor strategic performance and identify areas requiring intervention.

- Lead strategic reviews and prepare executive / Board-level reporting.

- Ensure strategic priorities remain aligned with enterprise objectives.

Strategy-Execution Integration

- Work closely with Operational Excellence to translate strategy into executable programmers.

- Incorporate operational performance, implementation learnings and frontline insights into strategy.

- Jointly evaluate strategic opportunities, priorities and transformation outcomes

Qualification & Experience -

- MBAs from Tier 1 B-schools

- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, project management, business analysis, or data analytics
