Manager - Internal Audit - Risk & Compliance

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Internal Audit professional to join our dynamic risk and assurance team across our Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, and Gurgaon offices. In this role, you will lead end-to-end internal audit engagements, evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and ensuring robust compliance with organizational policies and regulatory frameworks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional leadership and business stakeholders to identify operational risks, provide actionable insights, and drive process improvements that safeguard the organization's assets. By bridging the gap between complex audit findings and strategic business solutions, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our governance posture and supporting sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute comprehensive internal audits and SOX compliance testing to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and operational efficiency.

- Partner with department heads to evaluate existing internal controls, identifying gaps and recommending mitigation strategies to reduce organizational risk.

- Lead the end-to-end audit lifecycle, from risk assessment and planning to field execution and final reporting, ensuring all findings are communicated clearly to senior management.

- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure that management action plans are effectively executed and risks are adequately addressed.

- Facilitate seamless communication between internal teams and external auditors to streamline compliance efforts and maintain high standards of corporate governance.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in conducting complex internal audits, managing SOX compliance programs, and evaluating internal control frameworks within large-scale organizations.

- Proven ability to synthesize complex audit data into clear, concise reports that influence decision-making at the leadership level.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build trust and navigate sensitive discussions with stakeholders across diverse business functions.

- Exceptional analytical mindset, capable of identifying subtle process inefficiencies and proposing innovative, value-added solutions.

- Professional qualification such as CA, CIA, or CISA, complemented by a track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

- Ability to manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously while maintaining rigorous attention to detail and adherence to strict project timelines.
