Manager - Financial Restructuring & Reconstruction

Reports to: Zonal Manager

Role Details:

Manage stressed and NPA corporate accounts, driving recovery through IBC/NCLT, SARFAESI, DRT, restructuring, OTS, and ARC transfers while formulating resolution strategies to minimize exposure and protect the Bank's interests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Actively handle stress accounts and exit marked accounts for the corporate portfolio. Ensure recovery of overdues, propose strategies to reduce exposure, and take timely action to protect the Bank's interest.

- Experience in managing corporate borrowers admitted to NCLT and active participation in resolution under the IBC framework.

- Ensure restructuring of viable stressed accounts under different RBI restructuring mechanisms.

- Active participation in the preparation of restructuring plans and resolution strategies to ensure maximum recovery.

- Recovery of NPA through legal proceedings including SARFAESI action and DRT.

- Work out one-time settlements with borrowers.

- Transfer of stressed cases to Asset Reconstruction Companies.

- Conduct meetings with advocates and counsel to decide the path of recovery and initiate necessary actions.

Requirements:

- MBA or CA qualification.

- Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience in handling NPA/Stressed corporates with exposure above Rs. 50 Crs.

- Experience in managing NPA/Stressed exposure across large corporate, mid-corporate, SME, real estate, or financial services segments.

- Proficiency in NCLT cases, DRT matters, debt restructuring, and OTS.

Technical Knowledge:

- Note writing skills for seeking committee approvals regarding settlements, debt restructuring, and resolution plans.

- Drafting legal notices and replies related to borrower litigation.

- Vetting legal documents such as NCLT applications and recovery suits before DRT.

- Conducting SARFAESI actions including physical possession of mortgaged properties.
