Manager - Digital Transformation/MES

Location:

Corporate (Vadodara) or any plant locations (Jambusar / Kosamba), Gujarat.

Experience: 8 to 10 years.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive implementation of digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain functions in alignment with the organization's Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing roadmap.

- Develop and execute digital project roadmaps by translating business and plant requirements into practical, scalable and ROI-focused digital solutions.

- Lead implementation and enhancement of MES and shop-floor digital solutions, ensuring effective integration with ERP, automation and other enterprise applications.

- Implement and support technologies such as IIoT, Edge Computing, machine connectivity and manufacturing analytics to enable real-time visibility and data-driven operations.

- Drive digital use cases including production monitoring, OEE improvement, predictive maintenance, quality analytics, energy monitoring, process automation and digital dashboards.

- Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Automation/OT and IT teams to identify operational challenges and convert them into digital improvement initiatives.

- Coordinate IT-OT integration, including connectivity between MES, PLC/SCADA, industrial equipment, IoT platforms, ERP and analytics applications.

- Manage digital transformation projects through the complete lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, budgeting, vendor selection, implementation, UAT, commissioning, user training and stabilization.

- Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks and business benefits, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, cost, quality and timelines.

- Support the implementation of automation, predictive analytics and Industry 4.0 solutions aimed at improving productivity, asset reliability, quality, energy efficiency and manufacturing performance.

- Establish appropriate system governance, cybersecurity, user-access controls, data integrity and compliance practices for manufacturing digital platforms in coordination with relevant IT and Information Security teams.
