Manager / Deputy Manager - Legal counsel position

Hiring: Senior Legal Counsel (Manager / Senior Manager)

Location: Gurgaon
Reporting To: Head of Legal
Experience: 7+ years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced legal professional to manage commercial contracts, provide business-oriented legal advice, and ensure regulatory and statutory compliance across business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including procurement, sales, distribution, technology, and service contracts.
• Manage the complete contract lifecycle, including legal vetting, approvals, execution, and renewals.
• Advise business teams on contractual risks, liabilities, and commercial matters.
• Manage regulatory compliance, including Anti-bribery, Antitrust, POSH, and data privacy.
• Coordinate with external law firms on legal disputes and complex matters.
• Improve legal processes and contract management systems.

Qualification & Experience

• Law degree from a reputed law school.
• 7+ years of PQE, preferably with a reputed law firm or multinational company.
• Strong expertise in commercial contracts, legal advisory, and compliance.
