Management Accountant

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Managing and maintaining the BL P&L and Balance Sheet as per the policies and financial reporting framework
2. Quarterly revenue and cost forecasting, including updating the rolling forecast model;
3. Performing monthly analysis, e.g., actual vs. budget analysis, variance analysis, etc.;
4. Monthly closing of books for BL, and reporting the results to the Operations Managers
5. Prepare and book GL entries, including prepaid, accruals, allocations, reclassifications, etc
6. Accounts receivable and accounts payable control;
7. Prepare monthly Fixed Asset capitalisations, approving inter-company transfers, and process write-offs;
8. Undertake financial planning, forecasting, and monitoring of results versus objectives
9. Ensure consistent implementation of standard finance practices;
10. Identify weaknesses in internal control and propose an action plan;
11. Assess and highlight opportunities for increased cost efficiencies, a driver for change
12. Participate in Internal Audit assignments;
13. Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, or projects as required
14. Comply with applicable company policies, including Personnel, Quality System, and Health,
15. Value addition through the introduction of simple control activities and financial models.
16. Perform other general office duties as needed

Qualifications:

Qualified or Semi-Qualified CA, CMA

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in Management Accounting

IT Skills :

Expert in MS Office, ERP's
