Make-up Artist / Trainer-cum-Consultant

Role Purpose:

The Make-up Trainer-cum-Consultant will not be limited to delivering training. The role will act as the technical SME and category celebrity MUA, supporting Kapston across category development, MUA partner selection, training, product and tool evaluation, SOPs, service quality, market trends and premium client requirements.

Eligibility & Experience

• 6–8+ years of professional make-up industry experience.
• Strong experience as a professional MUA, trainer and/or beauty consultant.
• Experience across party/occasion, commercial shoots premium and luxury make-up services.
• Strong understanding of professional and consumer make-up products, brands and tools.
• Experience developing service menus, techniques, training content or make-up SOPs is preferred.

Additional Experience – Added Advantage

• Experience working with celebrity clients, freelance artists or high-profile clientele will be an added advantage.
• Experience in film shoots, fashion shoots, editorial shoots, events or other professional production environments will be preferred.
• Experience as a recognized/Instagram-famous Make-up Artist or strong social media presence within the professional make-up industry will be an added advantage.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating premium, luxury, celebrity or high-profile make-up work will be preferred.

Skills Required

• Advanced make-up expertise with strong practical demonstration skills.
• Ability to design and deliver complete make-up training programs.
• Ability to provide input on service menus, SKU development, product selection, tools and pricing.
• Strong understanding of market trends and competitor/service benchmarking.
• Ability to conduct product testing and trials and provide structured recommendations.
• Ability to define and maintain service SOPs and quality standards.
• Strong partner/artist coaching and counselling skills.
• Ability to conduct practical assessments and identify capability gaps.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Training, Operations, Category, Quality and Product teams
