MAC Field Engineer

Role Description The MAC Field Engineer is a contract, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for supporting and maintaining Apple macOS devices and related infrastructure. This role includes diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on Mac systems, performing on-site installations, configurations, and upgrades, and ensuring smooth integration with enterprise networks and security policies. The MAC Field Engineer will respond to service requests, provide hands-on technical support to end users, and document incidents and resolutions in line with company standards. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and vendors, assisting in small deployment or migration projects, and proactively monitoring device performance and reliability to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for macOS & IOS devices, peripherals, and related enterprise tools.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills and proven Field Service experience to interact with end users and on-site stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess basic Project Management capabilities to support deployments, upgrades, and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Hands-on experience with macOS configuration, imaging, and device management (e.g., MDM tools such as Jamf or similar) is highly beneficial.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and integration of Mac endpoints into corporate environments is preferred.
• Ability to work independently on-site in Bengaluru, manage time and priorities, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Relevant technical certifications in Apple/macOS or endpoint support, and a diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field are an advantage.
