Description

JOB / ROLE SUMMARY

Provides specialized operational support for HR Technology programs within HR Global Shared Operations (HR GSO). Acts as an operations specialist and functional subject matter expert (SME) for Workday and related HR technology solutions, supporting system administration activities, advanced troubleshooting, case resolution, testing, reporting, process execution, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provides expertise in Workday Learning, Talent and Performance Management, Talent Acquisition module, and Employee Engagement programs (Peakon). Ensures data integrity, compliance with established governance processes, and an exceptional employee experience while partnering with HR Technology, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), HR teams, and business stakeholders. This role is based in India and requires flexibility to support multiple countries and business hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY DELIVERABLES

• Provide operational support for Workday and related HR technology solutions, serving as a subject matter expert for Learning, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Engagement programs.
• Investigate and resolve standard and complex system inquiries, incidents, service requests, and escalations related to HR system (Workday).
• Support Workday Learning administration activities, including learning assignments, course management, learner support, curriculum administration, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Support Talent Management programs, including annual performance reviews, talent assessments, talent pools, succession planning activities, talent calibration processes, and related system administration.
• Support Workday Talent Acquisition operational activities, including requisition management, recruiting workflows, candidate transactions, process troubleshooting, and system support.
• Support Employee Engagement programs, including Workday Peakon surveys, reporting, user support, issue resolution, and governance activities.
• Review and analyze system issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with HR Technology teams to implement sustainable solutions.
• Execute testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, validation of enhancements, releases, and system changes.
• Maintain accurate process documentation, knowledge articles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), audit documentation, and training materials.
• Support reporting, dashboard maintenance, data validation, metrics monitoring, quality reviews, and operational governance activities.
• Monitor process performance, identify opportunities for automation and optimization, and recommend improvements that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
• Partner with HR Technology COE on system releases, enhancements, process improvements, change initiatives, and operational readiness activities.

REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related learning and experience.

Preferred: Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

REQUIRED / PREFERRED EXPERIENCE OR CERTIFICATIONS

Required: 4+ years of experience supporting Workday, including hands-on experience with Learning, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Engagement modules.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting Workday Learning.
• Experience supporting annual performance review cycles, talent assessments, talent pools, succession planning, and talent calibration processes.
• Experience supporting Workday Talent Acquisition and recruiting-related business processes.
• Experience supporting Workday Peakon Employee Voice or similar employee platforms.
• Experience supporting system testing, releases, change management activities, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Experience within a global shared services or outsourcing environment.
• Workday certifications
