What you will work on

This career area contributes directly to the quality and reliability of iServerSupport's customer work. The exact balance depends on your experience and the needs of the team.

• Troubleshoot load, storage, networking, service and boot problems on production Linux systems.
• Perform safe updates, hardening, migrations, backup checks and service configuration work.
• Document evidence, actions and outcomes so customers understand what changed.
• Escalate risk early and coordinate recovery work without taking shortcuts with customer data.

What we look for

We are interested in how you approach real work, explain decisions and handle uncertainty. Practical judgement matters more than a list of tools.

• Practical Linux administration experience beyond a lab environment.
• A methodical approach to logs, metrics, configuration and root-cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of web, mail, DNS, database and control-panel services.
• Clear written English and the discipline to communicate during an incident.

Experience that can help

• Experience with cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin or hosting fleets.
• Familiarity with virtualization, RAID, LVM, firewalls and common backup systems.
• Industry certifications or examples of technical writing and incident reports.
