Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Life Insurance Agent role based in Ahmedabad, operating on a commission-only compensation structure. The Life Insurance Agent will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial goals, explain LIC's life insurance products, and recommend suitable plans. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and networking to generate leads, scheduling and conducting client meetings, presenting policy options, and assisting clients with policy applications and documentation. The role also involves maintaining regular contact with policyholders, providing ongoing customer service, handling policy queries, and supporting renewals and policy updates. The agent will work closely with LIC branch teams to stay informed about new products, regulatory guidelines, and sales initiatives, while consistently meeting individual sales and service targets.
Qualifications

• Strong Insurance Sales skills with the ability to identify client needs and close life insurance policies.
• Knowledge of Insurance and Insurance Brokerage practices, including policy structures, riders, and regulatory considerations.
• Basic understanding of Finance, financial planning, and long-term savings and protection products.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on building trust, handling queries, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working on a commission-only model.
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, conduct field visits, and participate in local marketing and outreach activities.
• Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is an advantage.
• Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or sales is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
